Mimms Herefords was established in 1969 by J.E. Mimms and Hal Martin. Today it is operated by J.E.'s son, Brady Mimms and grandsons, Rhett and Ryan Mimms. We are located in Acuff, which is 12 mile east of Lubbock, Texas. Breeding cattle is a family tradition and passion that has been passed down from generation to generation with the same focus in mind. With that being said, the main focus at Mimms Herefords is to raise cattle with optimal performance in rangeland conditions yet, still be competitive in the show ring. We hope to maintain genetic integrity allowing Mimms Herefords to succeed for generations to come.
